Default oil cap

As posted, my oil cap broke off. I don't know how and was wondering if any of you guys had any idea why. All I did was ride vtec while I was in second then shifted. Then I started smelling the oil and decided to pull over. I checked under the car first to see if it was leaking. No leak.

I popped the hood and to my dismay, I saw the bottom part of the oil cap on the engine, but now the top. That crap popped off!!!

Please, any info would be appreciated

Well luckily when this happened, I was close to work, so that's where I pulled into to check my car. I saw the hole and saw where the oil cap top fell to

So I went inside and got pliers, and used those to fish out the top first.

Then to use it on the bottom part (still on engine)

It was loose though, so I just used my had to turn it and take it off
