Guys I need a local SD guy that is vortech supercharged.

I can't think of anyone, My car is making a weird as noise at 5,000 rpm that I cannot figure out. And I would like to ride in someones car to listen to there's.
You know how it is trying to diagnose a sound over the internet

Thanks,

What type of noise?
From 5,000 rpms to what rpms does the sound appear?
Do you feel like you loose power at 5,000 rpms?
Does the noise happen in gear, neutral, or both?

With the car parked, look in your engine bay and rev the engine by hand. Rev it up to 5,000 rpms and see if you could find the souce of the sound. Check the belts, pullies, and supercharger for any play. Good luck.

I have checked all of that, and I don't loose power at all.

It will not do the noise unless I am moving.

It is from 4,600 rpm to 5,100 rpm.

at 5,100 rpm it is like a buzz then it is gone. But when I am driving on the freeway I am right in that rpm range so I can hear it constantly.

I took it to my buddys smog shop and put it on his dyno. That was no avail, that damn machine was loud I could not hear a thing.

Intake maybe??? May sound stupid, but I swear with my K&N at a certain RPM I hear a whistle.

Does it sound like a very faint bell type ring? If so, I believe the source is within the clutch. Do a search for a ringing when in high rpms.

Don't think so. 5,100 rpm's isn't high rpm's, and after that is sounds perfect.

does this happen even when your not in gear and just rev pass 5k?

did this noise just all of a sudden come forth?

think hard and try to remember what you installed on your car last before you heard the noise...
