My softop was cut open today. Ella called me to let me know. As some of you know I'm still out of town and need your help.

If you know where I can get a replacement top or can recommend a dealer. I will either have her take it to the dealer and pay the cost, or use one of your recommendations and pay a member to install it for her.

Please PM me for her contact information. We really need to get this fixed quick. It's our only vehicle for now.

Jim's Auto Upholstery has installed tons of tops for the S2000. They charge $350. If you are looking for an OEM replacement, contact Vic at www.topsonline.com and he can get you a new top with defroster for less than $600.

Happened at my townhome. Insurance is handling it. They don't want her to drive it with the top slashed. They are going to fix it and give us a rental.

Either way, on my own or through insurance it's going to cost me a thousand to fix.

 

Vic from topsonline is in Cali and he can get the shop delivered to you in one day and Jim's Auto Upholstery can have the top completed within a day as well.

It will cost you a bit less than $1,000 by paying out of pocket and you won't have a claim on record with your insurance co.

Your Premium wouldn't go up right? Since its not really your fault. Dam slashers, dont they got anything better to do.

 

Did they take anything or damage anything else?

 

You shouldn't file a claim unless you need to. His premiums may increase so better to avoid the claims process altogether.
