MMA in SD?
I'm moving to SD from Chi. I'm not exactly sure where I'll be living but I'm working where Mira Mesa hits the 805. Anyone know of some good MA schools around the area?
I would prefer some good Mui Thai and/or Gracie BJJ, or maybe some good MMA. I'm thinking of living somewhere around UTC or maybe PB.
Also accepting suggestions on places to live, apt complexes, or referrals to people renting condos.

I just moved in to an apartment off of Friars, in Mission Valley last week, I love it here but my rent is pretty steep 1600 for a one bedroom plus garage. I have heard of alot cheaper places but my complex is pretty nice. good luck and You will love this weather.

There are plenty of places around. If you want to join a school, just search google. But if you simply want to just learn Muay Thai there is "The Boxing Club" in UTC that offers Muay Thai classes by the mass. But if you want to take Muay Thai seriously, you would probably want to admit yourself into a Muay Thai school.

There are several places you can go to that I know of for BJJ but you should be award of one thing. A decicated BJJ school in Socal is generally quite expensive. Maybe it's because of UFC or something but I couldn't believe what some guys charge (I've seen typically $300 per month and even as high as $75 a class).
Prices might have come down a bit since I last looked into it but just be prepared. Also, you may check this link out:

drkphnx, I'm here until the 30th and then flying back to Chi. Man, you're crazy for taking that long drive! How long exactly did it take you?
I heard about "The Boxing Club", so I'll check that out. $300 is freakin crazy. I was training with Carlson Gracie in Chi for like $120 + gym dues ($40). Kieth Hackney's school was like $105. Guess I need to get used to these high SoCal prices!
