Default let me know what ya think...

So I'm trying to decide as to whether I should go with 17s or 18s on my S...I'm not exactly sure as to what would look better and I don't want to go make that big of a purchase without knowing how they would look first...what does everyone think...also If you could post pics of your S with aftermarket rims on...doesn't matter what kind...just size and let me know...it would really help me in making a final decision...Thanks!

The unsprung weight of 18" rims take away from performance......both off the line and braking. Unless you are purely going for show/bling, stay away from 18" rims for the S.

Less rubbing issues.

Less $$ on rubber.

weight of the wheels is also going to depend on which ones I go with though...some of the Volks that I looked at were only 15 lbs and they were 18s

18" looks better. 17" is more practical. IMO.
