yes and yes...*G*

you need to pull your foot away fast, going sideways is easy after a couple of times...

or try in water or the rain...

you're granny shifting and not double clutching like you should.

sorry i had to do it.

but for the launching question. there is a few people here that drag their car at the q. sooner or later they'll chime in to give you some pointers. but the best way to do it, IMO, is head over to the drag races one night with the s2ki peeps to see how its done first hand

and i believe the reason why your clutch burns is because of the clutch delay..i could be wrong though

no 6k is when vtec kicks in so you get the horses you need before 6k you only have 150hp or so i believe

at 4k you will bog and your differential will hate you, at 6k you get wheelspin so that your diff doesnt absorb all the beating, the point of launching at 6 is so when you gain traction you are already in vtec.

i would help you with the clutch delay valve but i dont know how to remove it!

I launch at 5.5 when i'm at the Q.....6 slips the wheels too much off the line...esp with the stock RE050's. try 5.5...and dump the clutch fast like everyone else said. I still have my CDV and dont' have any problems when it's done right.

Yeah my car tends to bog at 4, maybe too much traction in the tires to break them loose? I usually drop it around 5 give or take a little. My cdv is still in and i can launch fine enough
