Juss Dropped cars on Espelirs. BUT problem...
waddup guys, i juss droped my car on Espelir Springs, and everything looked perfect. I love the ride heigth but i ran into a few problems on the street. My car shakes violently from 40-50 mph, then after that, it disappears with minor vibrations, but not very noticeable. Im gettin differnen't answers from everyone so i brought it over to my mechanic in Miramar. I thought it migh've of been the axle, so about after an hour of lookin, we found nothin wrong with the axle, nor LCA.
My friend said that my rear pass half shaft could've popped out of joint and is now misaligned. Im juss frusturated. My car was Perfect and never ran into any problems until the drop. Could that be the solution? Rear pass Half Shaft? thanx guys.

I spoke to you about wheel bearings but after reading your thread I'm thinking it is your inner CV joints. Do a search for CV joints and you will find the same problems as your experiencing. When lowering a car it will put added stress to the CV joints. If your car did not previously have this TSB done then lowering the car will dramatically increase the problem.
Dealer replacement and parts are not too expensive.
If your car is under warrantee...put the OEM springs back in and then take it in.

Here is the actual TSB (technical service bulletin)

I've been complaining about the same thing and couldn't get a straight answer out of anyone. Now that a noob brings it up, first person that responds gives him the info he needs.
for OBSeRiouso
for me!
At least now I know. Since my car isn't under warranty, who can switch my cups (ON THE CAR) for me?

thanx tim. I appreciate the help man. It seems that by reading The TBS, this might be the probable solution to my problem.
Since they are talking about the inboard CV joints, how much do you think i'll be looking at if i bring it to a dealership??
i know the dealership might charge me an arm and a leg, and that is somethign i don't have. Can i report this to my mechanic and is it a job that he can do?
please lemme know, thanx man.
so the solution. If indeed my CV joint housings are worn out, can i use driveshaft spacers to alleviate the problem? Or since they are already worn to begin with, i should just get them fixed and squash the idea of spacers?
