I will quit SMOKING.
#11
I buy about 450 packs of cigarettes a year (probably more) at about 5 bucks a piece that's 2250 dollars or 681 gallons of gas or 59 full tanks of gas. I think about it now cause someone has been trying to get me to quit smoking the last couple weeks. Funny part is I quit smoking for about a year. I think I've been smoking for 10 years now, which is sad cause i'm 22 (guess that's what you get for living in different countries and following their ways.) Maybe it's time to stop. Who knows... I'll think about it.

Try to isolate yourself away from smokers for a little while.

Today is September 15, 2005.
I will quit smoking as of today. It's hard already since I usually have my first cigarette around 8:00am every morning for the last who knows when.
I just found a brand new pack of cigarettes in my car yesterday. Today I will throw the brand new pack of cigarette away to prove to myself that I don't need nicotine anymore.
Thanks for all the positive feedback guys. It feels good inside to know that there are people who care.
Any other smokers ready to quit?

First week is the toughest... but it gets easier and easier.... Just like any habit.......you will learn a NEW habit of not smoking.....
Once the NEW habit kicks in......it will be like you never were a smoker.
After about a month you will start to notice you have extra money laying around.....seriously.... probably about $80--$100 depending on how much you used to smoke.
Try to quit the habit without picking up another BAD habit.
Mark a calendar so you get a visual of the day you quit.... and visual of your progress.

^^ Those are some nasty pictures. I wonder what mines look like?
Just had breakfast. I usually smoke right after every meal but this time, I won't.
I'm strong.
