Default I need your help

Hey all,

Something strange is going on with my car and I am trying to figure out if it is exhaust related. My car is having trouble reaching red line.

I have changed the spark plugs, added oil, performed the map whack and nothing has changed.

Please if anybody has a testpipe or catalytic converter that I can purchase or borrow, please let me know ASAP!

Just pull the cat and look at it. you can tell real easy if the cat on an S is bad or not. or stop by the shop an we can look at it for you. I would bet thats not what is rong

I am pretty sure there is a problem with the cat because it rattles pretty badly. I don't know what's up with that... Really strange.

Where is your shop anyway?

Sounds like all the honeycomb stuff inside broke and the cat is bad, I broke a couple on my civic, cuz of the ride height i scraped it up and thus broke apart the inside of the cat.

Would a broken cat have anything to do with no being able to redline?
I dont think so...but.....

Restricted air flow? Perhaps the O2 sensor is causing the A/F mixture to be rich?

I don't know but I do know that I need a TP or a catalytic converter ASAP.

Come on guys (TJ especially), help me out!
