like ap2 said, coilers, but for just lowering springs, i hate the tien springs, they suck with just lowering springs, skunk 2 goes for 165, something like that.

I don't even notice the drop on Teins. You should get full coilovers....for the drop and the life span, it's worth it. If you just throw springs on your stock suspension, your shocks will blow alot faster.

coilovers are also way easier to install

I've been on Eibach Pro-Kit springs for 3+ years. Gaps are as follows:

1/2 finger gap in the back
1 1/2 finger gap in the front

No rubbing, and you can run these with the OEM struts. I would recommend changing the struts at the same time if you can afford to, as the lower posture will wear out the struts eventually. However I rode on the Eibach/OEM strut setup for 50k miles before switching to Koni Yellows.

This combo is MUCH less expensive than coilovers, which are not necessary for 9/10th of the people that have them, IMHO. Sure if your gonna have a setting for track, for Auto-X, for the street, etc. and actually dial it up for each occasion then...sure. Otherwise it is just a blingin' waste.

Eibach Pro-Kit sells for $250 new and $150 used.
