As the title says it, where can I go for the Grunion Run? What is the best time to go...

I dont think we do a Grunion Run...there's only Palomar, De Luz, Highland Valley, Borrego Springs...

silver strand in coronado, but check the fishing reports for times, fyi season is closed for the rest of may!

yeah we went last year at mission beach. left at 3am and didn't see anything! we checked the schedule and everything too.

froze our butts off..and didnt see squat...but had a great time, chillin at the beach. funny thing is they ended up showing like 3 hours later from what I understand.

Coronado is a very good place for grunion. There was one year where I saw thousand upon thousands of them, it was a amazing.

When the weather warms up and the grunions are running, the fishing is fantastic. Ghost shimp and clams are all you need. Being Vietnamese, you probably already know that.

So when are we going Ken?????

There you go, I think it was mission beach that I heard about these grunions at.

If I were to go to Coronado, when would be a good time to go? It wouldn't go by the same time schedule as the one we see online for the other beach...?

I saw these up in Carlsbad, i was camping and i came down to the water late at night and there was freakin fish everywhere, it was one hell of a surprise.
