Hey folks,

I'm hearing around that Ortega Hwy is a great place to do a group drive with nice S curves. Has anyone here been there? If so, are there specific dates when people go there? I'd like to go check it but I don't want to go alone.

Well, i dont plan on going anytime soon but after finals, I'd definitely wanna roll there. Roadtrip!! Does anyone else here wanna go???

Ortega does have nice curves and would be a nice run if there were no other cars, but every time I've been there it's been so slow I've almost fallen asleep. Maybe it would be okay at 3 a.m.

A better run is Hwy 74 (Pines to Palms) east out of Hemet to Palm Springs. Do it at 6 a.m. and you'll have the thrill of your life.

Ya Ortega is way to crowded. De luz or Palomar would be way better.

 

i live minutes from ortega and it is pretty crowded most of the times. i usually go out at 9 or 10 at night when its empty or during construction depending on how far down the line its closed. 74 east is a true thrill though.

 

Thanks guys!! Maybe I will check it out soon. We should set something up for the summer. I missed the MEGAMEET signup so I wanna do something at least 1 big groupdrive this summer!
