Good billiards place in sd
Does anyone know of good billiards/pool place in san diego? I couldn't find nicer ones. I have been at hungry sticks on cliaremont mesa blvd, it was good but hope there were bigger better tables. I am in La jolla but dont mind driving around.

Only an errant cue ball away from the ocean on Garnet Avenue, this pool hall is the closest thing PB has to "going out downtown" without actually going out downtown. The large, sparsely lit space holds fifteen full-length tables and a fully stocked bar that begs you to order a martini. It's easy to walk in and get on a table in the early evening, but come nine o'clock there's usually a fifteen-minute wait. As a consolation, Society offers a porch-like sitting area where you can order drinks and bar food and spy on the all the action on the Garnet strip.
While Society doesn't have a dress code like most Gaslamp bars, drink prices are just as high and there are no specials. The vibe inside is slightly upscale without being pretentious. Not all of the tables are in great shape and many of the cues are warped, but Society still attracts its fair share of regulars and solid players.
Table Fee: $5 per hour during the day; $10 per hour at night.
