Make sure you tape your headlights when you track, don't want any cracks. Also who is throwing the event? Make sure you have an SA approve helmet. Enjoy yourself and don't push past your limits... and most of all HAVE FUN!!!

 

Yo Nick, how did you do?? Did they run the course clockwise or counter clockwise??

haha...ended up going without anything...didn't have time to get taped or look into clear bras. It turned out ok tho.

The track was run clockwise. It was hella fun! I spun out once in the middle of the track on the second 'S' curve...and i flew off the track on the sharp turn before the front straight (everyone did at least once). Other than that...it as a pretty clean run...lots of crazy cars too. Saw about 6 s2k's there.

oh..and the track day was held by Redline.

 

Did you disengage VSA or did you keep it in all day long?

When they run the track counterclockwise, I struggle on that s-curve, especially in the afternoon when they open up the full track.

 

Disengaged it all day. It usually cuts power when i'm trying to exit a turn.

Glad to hear nothing bad happened from a few spins. Almost all my other friends with S2k have spun at least once on the track, with myself as the only exception (knock on wood). definitely can get a little tricky out there.
Was it a time attack? or just an open track day? How many sessions did you get in total?

 

u shoulda come man lol. Yeah i flew off into the dirt. My lip is kinda messed up now...not really bad...paint is just a little rough in some spots now

I had the in-car cam when i did the spin out...and one of my friends got an exterior vid of it.
