Then i will sell it to you. I just moved here from Florida dude, I dont need it anymore. The car is turbo'd and not carb legan and she'll stay that way

I just paid for my registration first also.... They just don't send you the sticker and paper until you get it smogged.

Have you tried disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it? Typically, the CEL won't come on immediately after a battery reset...the ECU will monitor sensor readings for several miles before actually flagging the CEL. I had this issue on my Tercel (one of the O2 sensors is bad). I just reset the battery, brought it straight to the smog station (no CEL)...and passed with flying colors

...then the CEL came back on like 50 miles later, but i was in the clear by then.

As long as you think your car can pass the emissions portion without it...you should be good.

Thank you Nick. I am already planning to get it replaced. Sick of seeing that engine light on.
