Close on the heels of Borrego will be DeLuz, another favorite of mine. This is a great little back-roads run, almost no traffic, more scenic and not so fast as some of the others. Interesting changes in elevation. We'll start Saturday, April 28th, at McDonalds as usual (here) at 10:00 a.m. and end with lunch up in Temecula. Probably back to SD no later than 2:00.

Lowered cars beware.

Nah, we stick to the pavement.

Not to scare you off, but one time while scouting the area I went up a road that looked promising on the map, then the pavement stopped. The dirt looked smooth so I kept going, then came to this 10 foot wide river flowing across the road. It was only about 3 inches deep, so I kept going. Came through all right and after a while back to pavement on the other side. I did get a funny look from this jeep I passed. We don't do that road on the run.
