Default Day Spa

Hey guys I got the lady's birthday coming up, and I wanted to take her to a day spa. I originally was thinking LA/Hollywood area, but decided to go San Diego. I've found two so far. I found Heavenly Touch over on Camino De La Reina, and I also found Beauty Kliniek. Do you guys have any suggestions? Thanks

There's a really nice Day Spa at Barona.

"Matilda: I've been trying to reach you for a week.
Derek Zoolander: A week? What, are you having a whack attack? I saw you this afternoon, dum-dum.
Matilda: That was last Friday.
Derek Zoolander: Uhh Earth to Matilda, I was at a day spa. Day, D-A-I-Y-E. Okay?"

I was gonna recommend Barona too. Its a nice atmosphere for the spa and the Steakhouse is pretty nice too. It is a casino/resort so if you can stay away from the Casino it'll be fine. The day spa and dinner at the Steakhouse was around $700. I don't think its worth it if I would have had to pay for it though.

Then again I didn't really need a facial or want to go to the Day Spa. The missus insisted on the Sweetheart package for two and she wanted a manicure and pedicure afterwards. (Gave me some time to play at the tables ) The dinner was expensive too. 4 or 5 pieces of shrimp appetizer was $20ish and the main course was around $40-50.

Here's a link to the Barona Ambiance Day Spa. Enjoy.

Damn $700 ouch.. The most I want to spend is $250 max. So I guess Barona is out. Thanks for the help though.

Just got back from 2 nights at Barona....the day spa is nice but not worth the money.... The massages were not the best either.

I would recommend the Pala Casino...their day spa is much better!!!

there is a spot in mission valley that is super pimp, and not too expensive. down at the town and country hotel... look it up. always get my mom a package there for xmas and she loves it. Bella Tosca
http://www.dayspaandsalon.biz/

Also 4 Seasons Aviara in Carlsbad ... always super pimp at 4 seasons, but probably $$$.

i would look in carlsbad - there are dozens of good day spas there...

but i think for the value - Bella Tosca is money. just money.

Tim,
Where do you usually park your car when you go? Do you drive the S? I've never seen another S there.

I usually don't take the S......but weekend I did. I park in the Hotel parking cause I never Valet. I also park at the very top of the parking garage.
