hey guys, sorry, i ran off to EMV, so, been out of the loops. but, i'm back, and with a vengeance 
who can get on base that is gonna be in the area for late december? While I don't celebrate Xmas myself, nobody likes to be alone at this time of year, it's a bummer!

I'm putting together an introduction drive for my buddy with the new S2K. (oddly enough, the buddy who wrecked mine...don't worry, we're good friends and he learned a lot)
POINT IS----
NEW YEAR'S WEEKEND drive around the camp pendleton area (not on base, but starting near base) It's my intention to either A. drive up to the california salt flats or B. find as much twisty sections of asphalt as possible between camp pendleton and palm springs/indio region.
All interested, let me know. I'll post up a rally point/time. Maybe we can hit up a someplace to eat at the start middle and end. FOR SURE it will be me and my friend. So you got at least 2 S2Ks committed. The more, the merrier!

I'm a new S2k owner too. 33 Area living 13 Area working represent.
I'm down for a cruise.
But Palm Springs is far.
I'll join you for the beginning stretch of the cruise though.

Let me run an idea by you guys. For those of you in the Camp Pendleton area, do you want to meet up here, near the base and then caravan down to the New Year's drive that is mentioned in a seperate thread? It's apparently just north of the base up in Irvine, CA.
Or
Do we want to do our own route?
Or
We can get out and take an interesting route to get to Irvine from Camp Pendleton, and then start driving with them on their route back down to San Diego?
(If we did that, the SD guys that were interested in coming with me could still do both drives---bradskee that's for you )
Either way, i'll have a final decision, and post what we're doin' tonight (time, location etc). But I wanted to bounce it off you guys first.
