I'm thinking of getting a vafc for my AP1 and having it tuned so my vtec kicks in earlier. Any suggestions, opinions... would you say that it is worth it? Thanks...

i used to have a VAFC, its worth it if you want to stay N/A and since you have a 2000 (richer running) you can lean it out to pull out more power. i gained 10hp just from the vafc when i got it tuned.

i say go to church automotive to get it tuned though.

Did you lower your Vtec? If so, by how much and did it help your car pull faster off the line?

yes i lowered it to 5400, it definately helps off the line. if you dont get the perfect launch
