Between 2003 & mid-2005 I lived at River Run Village in Mission Valley. At the time, the rent was $1300 for a 2-bedroom and $1000 for a 1-bedroom (both have washer & dryer). They have carports and if you're lucky, you may be able to get one of the UG spots under the tennis courts and main office. The apartments are on Friars and River Run. Unfortunately, they do not advertise, in order to save costs for the tenants.

That's where I live right now, and have been for the last 2 years! Although the location is killer, and the neighbors are HOT, it not worth it to me. Rent is currently $1,250 for a 1 bed and raising. Housing market is down, so rent goes up.

I miss my good'ol Denver days where a 2bed/2bath in a nice neighborhood was only $450.

The price is exactly why I moved out & decided to buy a house. That and I wanted a garage and more space. I still was able to throw some awesome parties there and got minimal complaints, even when I did pull out the karoake!!

Hey neighbor! I live at Archstone.

I love my three minute skateboard ride to work.

Try Mission Hills/Old Town. I love this place. 5 minutes to downtown or PB and mission valley. Our Pool just completed with a 12 person hottub and gas fire pits that you can see from the 5 at night.

Yeah it is a salt water pool, (1/10th as salty as the ocean so not that bad) solar heated from large panels on the hill that goes down to the law school. This time of year it is over $1000 / month to keep it at 72 + so right now it is about 64 from solar only. Im not going in until the summer unless I jump from the spa.
