Im looking to move down to the San Diego vicinity pretty soon and im looking for a decent area to go to. i have around a $1500 a month rent budget, and dont want to end up in some ghetto neighborhood. I'm searching for a 2 bed apartment. Im going to go to UCSD, but it can be up to 30 miles away. Any help to get me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated

Do you require a garage? I think downtown or little italy is nice. And with the way real estate is going you might find a good deal on one. Good luck
