I just looked up South Bay and it's pretty damn far from my house but the prices are great. Might have to make a day trip there.

Limited to 10 rounds per magazine handgun or rifle
If your rifle is..
Not a semi auto you can have a barrel from 14 inches or longer (must also be atleast 26 inches overall length)
Semi auto you can have a barrel from 16 inches or longer (must also be 30 inches overall length
Rifles shorter than the above mentioned you can register it as a SBR (short barrel rifle) and will apply for a permit which you must bring at all times.
If your semiauto rifle has a detachable magazine (a magazine bullet button classifies as a non detachable magazine) you may not have a pistol grip, foreward grip, flash suppressor, folding/ collapsable stock, thumbhole stock, grenade(yea right) flare launcher.
I may be missing a couple of things.

you can shoot steels at p2k. its also bigger then american shooter on clairemont and iron sights in oceanside. p2k has 100 yard range too. so its nicer for ar practice.
