Any runs anytime soon?

Well you coulda joined me at 5 a.m. Saturday, but that was kind of impromptu.
LOL out in the desert at 6, highway totally deserted, went through a border patrol checkpoint. As I was slowing down for the stop sign, there was nobody around, then two BP came out of the building about 10 feet ahead so I kept going and pulled up to where they were. This young cocky guy, couldn't have been more than 20, looked at me, looked back at the stop sign, looked at me again and said "Going kinda fast weren't you?" in his most serious policeman voice. I glanced back at the sign, gave him my "I don't believe you just said that" look, grinned and said "Yes, well, you were up here." Guess he didn't like my attitude because he proceeded to grill me. "What's your citizenship? Where are you going? Where did you come from?" He thought it was incredibly suspicious that I would drive from San Diego most of the way to El Centro just to head back to Julian. He finally ran out of questions and waved me on, but not before walking around to check my license plate (didn't comment on the extra letters). The whole time his partner, a woman, didn't say a word. I was chuckling as I left. It must suck to be him.
I don't think anyone's going to be in any shape for a run after Cory's party next Saturday. But I'll try to think of a good one beforehand that ends up at his house.

Just finished installing my Delrin bushings. Car feels solid and it's itching for a Palomar + Julian run.
