Default 9/11 Run

Sup SD guys. I am extending the invite to you all. You guys can meet us at Pala and go from there. This is from the So Cal forum.

What's up guys. A few members and I are setting up a run this coming Sunday 9/11. We will be driving from OC/LA area to Pala Casino for lunch and then up to Palomar mountain, after Palomar we will be meeting up at Pala once again for dinner and drinks/gambling. We will be meeting up Sunday morning in Diamond Bar and driving out there. It's about 180 miles roundtrip so expect it to be pretty much all day. Weather is showing 78 for the high at Pala so it should be an awesome trip.

If you are interested please PM and I will provide you the meet time and route we are taking.

Of course I am not taking any responsibilty for people driving and always drive safe.

I'm gonna wait until this heat passes. I don't trust the weatherman nor the weather at this point. Driving anywhere in this heat isn't even fun. BTW, I went on a drive to Julian through Palomar 2 weeks ago and would highly advise for everyone to take extreme caution on the roads in the area. It is heavily patrolled and they will pull you over for any reason they can find and hassle you. If that's bad it gets worse...Residents in the area have taken matters in their own hands and sabotaged some roads with grease and oil. Again, travel these roads at full caution...and have fun.

Mind sending me that route to see if we can avoid it.

Also the heat will be gone by this Friday. I am pretty much a weather man and study this stuff. Onshore flow is coming back and cooling it down big time.

Heads up that Road is heavily patrolled and expect it to be a maximum enforcement weekend because it's 9/11
