the typical spots in SD...Coronado, La Jolla Shores, Pacific Beach, Balboa Park, SeaWorld, Wild Animal Park, Dave and Busters (knuckle up!!!!)

you asked about museums so I suggest Balboa park. There are a ton of museums. There is a Cars & Coffee meet the 3rd Sunday of each month at the Auto Museum if you're here then. All types of cars.
