says it only works 2000-2003 s2000...i don't see why it wouldn't work with the other headunits cause this device connects to the cd changer ports. I can definitely help with the install aswell if you like

04 and newer decks have a different plug in the back. I believe the number of pins is also differnet, hence why this particular unit only works on AP1 decks.

The reason why people don't want to opt for a new deck is cause
1. they want stock
2. they want dash control ( even though there are work around)
3. they are satisfied with what the stock unit produces.
4. costly

Upgrading HU doesn't necessary mean a better outcome...

I got the deck that doesn't have a CD player, just USB..., It wasn't that expensive ($250.00) and the Modifry was another $90.00 and was installed for free with the HU. The sound is night and day.

Not to take away from the unit you are selling. If you want to keep the stock unit then this is an excellent option. For me I kept the stock unit as well and will put it back when I sell the car.
