[QUOTE=blurnj13,Oct 16 2006, 11:09 PM] I've seen it in boat US in jersey, but I saw it on autogeek as well so couldn't resist picking up 845 and 476 along with some free microfiber yay =).

I used to get Collonite at a body shop supplyhouse when I lived in Iowa. That was 20 years ago so I don't know if that helps now. They do have a distributor list on their website.

http://www.collinite.com/

I got away from using Collinite after I moved to Atlanta. The sun here kills it in about 3 months. Also, I had a white '65 Plymouth that I noticed was getting a yellow tint from the Collinite. Acryllic Enamel paint, Chrylser paint code WW1.

Their Fiberglass Boat Wax is great for acrylic tubs and shower enclosures.

Also, whether or not there is such a thing as white carnauba is up for debate. I do not consider myself a chemist or a botanist. So, I leave the debate up to those with the knowledge to actually have it.
Mikey I know you 'll defend zymol to the bitter end but the highest grade carnauba is #1 yellow. It has a light yellow tint. The marketing wheels at Zymol started the whole "white carnauba" myth. Your zymol is tinted.

Brazilian Supplier/grower web definitions. This is where zymol gets their wax. Everyone gets their wax from South America. The industry is standardized for growers.

I've heard this Zymol vs. Zaino vs the other guys for years. Are you familiar with the test one of the NSX guys did a few years ago? It is reprinted on the FFCobra website now.

If you want the biased marketing company approach

I know i can beat a dead horse but Zymol is the only one that uses the term white carnauba, It doesn't exist naturally.

I gotta say, after polishing my car out this year I laid down some six layers of Zymol Concours over a period of six weeks and it's still going strong. It has proven to be extremely durable for something I thought would last "2 hours" and the look has been untouchable compared to ANY wax I've used before.

Is it worth what I paid? Maybe not. Will I keep using it regularly? No - it's really a PITA to apply I'll probably end up selling the remainder of my container. Anyone?
