I found this website, and think the concept is pretty neat. Unfortunatly it is only for an area in texas, but look at the cars!!! and look at the price. I don't think the price is all that bad. What about hosting a zaino day! group buy dealie.. anyway FYI

interesting...
great concept, and glad to see that it can be done for the relatively inexpenisve price quoted.

as a way too picky detailer this bothers me a little:
"The automobile is hand washed using a macro-fiber wash mitt. "

these mitts dont (imo) do a great job of trapping dirt and other particles inside the fiber and can lead to swirling. i know i am not the only one who thinks this, and now have the task of finding some research on this!!

i should admit right now that this is an opinion (the mitt issue), but mine is that this is not the best way to go!

Question: what is MACRO fiber?

Opinion: Microfiber mitts should NOT be used to wash the car - but they may be great for dusting the interior and/or applying protectant such as 303 or Vinylex.

vrm vrm-
pretty sure there is no such thing as a macro fiber...
at least not for car detailing.
we agree on the use for a microfiber mitt if anyone bought one!!
