Default Zaino'ed my S2000

I finally got a chance to Zaino my S2000 for the first time. Pics are up at http://www.diymiata.com/s2000/zaino/

Can I get a Wash & Wax badge now?

That looks great "Doink!~"

I plan to do most of the steps "Doink~" used - Zaino finishing with the P21S carnauba (its in the mail). Any ideas on what to use to prepare the paint instead of dish detergent? I just can't bring myself to put DAWN on new paint and vinyl. I'm considering using two cycles of Zaino shampoo, then claybar.

Just about any stronger wash shampoo should strip the old wax (if any) off. The main reason (from my understanding) Dawn is so popular is because it strips it very easily and fast.

Some car shampoos are designed to leave current wax coats intact (Sonus Gloss Shampoo comes to mind) but others will not though I cant recall any specific ones.

The claybar will strip any previous wax/sealant off your paint anyway, so you dont really need to worry about taking it all off with the wash.

Meguiars has a 3 step wax job. I believe the first one is to strip wax and existing polish off the car, 2 is to polish the paint and give it a wet look. and last but not least, the Canuba of course. Am gna try the whole process this friday. Havent really had the chance to do the whole wax thing from the ground up.
