I have used both. There is no comparison, especially on the longevity - Zaino wins.

The guru reports folks did a wax test and Zaino seemed to hold up great for at least 2 months. That was the limit of their test. But some other products seemed to "look" significantly better, such as P21S/S100. After 2 months of use, they faded slowly though.

one word man..................

Zaino!!!!!!

You'll be VERY glad you did. There are MANY pics and testimonies on this board to help you feel good about the decision. I'll never put anything else on any of my cars again. Period.

How can Zymol be a gimmick? That stuff's been around since cars were invented!! Plus, it seems like most UK people are sold on it. I tried the autopia website, but it's down...

the only thing that gets to me about Zymol is that it doesn't last long...

Zymol pretty good plus it's readily available at any Kragen or Pepboys.

i found a comparison for Zaino & Meguire's Gold Class for swirl mark removal. Zaino and Meguire's are equal under normal sunlight and distant photographic comparison... but up close under halogen lighting, Meguire's Gold Class is better at removing swirl marks.

i'm too lazy to find it now, but if you search yahoo or google you should see it. it's a comparison on a black Porsche Carerra (or some other model)

That's usually the cheaper cleaner wax... go the website, much, much better stuff. What's so great about Zymol is that they even make different waxes for different cars!! I got the Japon wax, for Japanese cars. I did notice how much thinner and cheaper paint jobs Japanese cars had than European and American counterparts. They make a specific wax for Saabs, the NSX, etc.

They even make a different wax for bumpers, it makes complete sense since the paint used on poly is different, the way it is applied and such.

It just makes a lot of sense to have different waxes for different cars and the different car parts.
