Zaino Z2 polish?
Im pretty sure almost everybody here tried the Z2. How often do u guys use this? because i heard that polish takes some of the top clearcoat for the car and im afraid that if i use them a lot, the paint will fade after few yrs...thanks guys

I think you can use the Z2 as often as you like. Z2 is a polymer coating that seals the paint. Polishing out scratches with an abrasive rubbing compound is what takes off paint.

the reason im asking because i used that more often than wax because they come off pretty easy. Sometimes i put a p21 coating on top of zaino but most of the time, i use the z2...i just hope that my paint will not be affected using a lot of z2 more than p21...thanks again guys...if u have more comments pls feel free to post them...

Anyway, one of the problems with car care is that there is not a set lexicon. So, some companies will use words like "polish" in a different manner than other companies.
As far as I'm concerned there are three types of polish . . .
abrasive polishes - level the paint using abrasives (preferrably diminishing ones)
chemical polishes - attack paint defects chemically rather than via abrasives
glazes - contain no chemical cleaners or abrasives instead these contain fillers and "beauty oils" to enhance the appearance of the paint
Anyway, Sal Zaino does not use the word "polish" in this manner. Z2 is actually a sealant with no cleaners or abrasives.
