Zaino/Wax inside doors
I am going to be detailing the car this weekend. I have bought the Zaino product and this will be my first time applying it.
Some will think that I am possibly going over the deep end with this but...
As far as the paint on the interior and around the door frame is concerned what do most people do here. I would like to apply a wax of somesort to keep it looking its best. I am thinking of applying the zaino to the outside of the car then while that is drying opening the door and applying it to the interior. Any suggestions, am I crazy .

Not crazy, just overkill. Simply drying the inside of the doors and jams after washing should be sufficient as these areas are not exposed to UV rays, fallout, etc.

If it floats your boat, turns your crank, stacks your patties, scratches your itch, works for you, puts a grin on your face, makes your world go around, turns you on, ignites your pilot light, gives you the warm fuzzies, then do it!. It's your time and elbow grease. Just remember, this part of the car is not exposed to the sun and you don't spend hours looking at it or having it looked at. For me, it's just too anal. I give it a "sponge bath" once in a while just to clean it up a bit.

Just use a detailer to keep it looking great or wipe it clean and dry when you wash the car. Don't forget under the hood and the trunk area. Also lubricate the hinges and latches.

Some here thought I was a bit crazy by waxing the under part of the hood and trunk as well as inside the door. I must admit though, that it looks great and you will like be pleased that you have do it as well.

aw - go ahead and do it . . . i do every painted surface on both my cars -
it just makes them easier to clean, gives me a warm fuzzy etc . .
and if anything bad was to happen - like rain or dirt - then its covered . .
