Default Zaino vs. Zymol... the real story!

After many, many threads about which is better: Zaino or Zymol? I decided to do a real life test and ask NSX owners to hlep judge the results.

Here are the results of the test: http://www.nsxsc.com/nsexcitement/waxtest.html

Thanks for the link! I'm really shocked to hear that the cheap Zymol did that well too...

Pity he didn't continue to another stage of testing by adding 3, 4, or 5 layers of each product. Although I feel sure that Zaino would still have come out on top of this test too, I'd like to know whether other products are also capable of improving the appearance of the finish after multiple applications, as Zaino does.

I simply CANNOT believe anybody in their right gourd would pay $144.00 for a jar of wax!

Most of may car has been repainted with its repair. The shop owners tells me to take it back after a month for buff and wax. I think I'll tell them to get the paint as smooth and shiny as possible without wax, and I'll try Zaino after I get it back. I am looking forward to trying Zaino products.

The funny thing is that that was only 1 coat of Zaino. None of the others will increase with multiple coats as they take off the coats underneath when the fresh coat is applied. Zaino layers and BOY does it make a difference! They didn't even use the Z6. Wow, if this doesn't convince you, you're stuck in carnauba land then I guess.

Ok, I have talked smack about the hassle involved in ordering Zaino, the time it takes between coats and I guess the overall commitment to applying the product. All the while, a group of Zainophiles have politely told me it is well worth the effort. And the effort really isn't that much.

After reading this test, (and seeing William's car in about 100 posts) I have decided to give this Uberpolish a go. Thank you all for kindly pointing me in the this direction.

shizon'00, I have been following your posts and have to say, "Dude, you know way too much about Zaino."

I must admit this I have been inspired by the glow of your yellow car. My yellow looks good, but damn, your car doesn't look real. Very nice.
