Default Zaino Q: Z1 every time???

So I tried Zaino for the first time. I washed with Dawn, claybared, washed with Dawn, used Z1 followed by a coat of Z2. My question is: when I want to add a second coat of Z2 can I just wash with Zaino carwash mix and than put on the Z2 or do I need to add another coat of Z1 over my existing Z1/Z2 coats? Thanks.

You need only Z1 the first time you apply the Zaino system. That is, unless you go a long time (4-6 months depending on environment) between applications. If it seems like your polish is gone, you need to reapply Z1.

Generally, you can layer as many coats of Z2 as you like without reapplying Z1. Some people recommend an annual Z1 application for good measure. It doesn't hurt.

I highly recommend ZFX. It make the process much quicker and hassle-free.

I use ZFX with Z2 and Z5, and it is so easy to use. It ususally takes about 30 min. for it to dry and the results are awesome!!
