Carbon Fiber is resin filled then typically cleared... thats not to say thats its the same clear as that used on cars.
I would strongly suggest you contact the manifacturer of the hood to get suggestions and find out what is used to clear the hood, then contact the Zaino and ask if this would work.
My "feeling" is that you would be fine-- but you need to consider that if ANY product (wax or synthetic) penetrates that clear and gets into the resin (eg. to soften in) that you will compromise not only the regidity of the hood, but cause possibly discoloration and possibly seperation of the carbon fibers (as its typically laid in thin, crossing sheets).
FWIW-- I have carbon fiber blades on my rc-helicopter (long story... I'm a sponsored pilot), and helifuel is VERY-VERY nasty stuff. It gets on the blades and wipes off clean w/out damaging them. Since that shxt is very nasty and full of fuel (which is Nitromethane (30%), Oil (22%) and the remainder is Alcohol, anti-foaming agents, and dye), I again suspect that Zaino or Waxes would be fine.
