Zaino Online Order
#3
The Corvette on-line parts & accessories company, Ecklers, sells Zaino and has an on-line order system.

There search engine sucks, however. A search for "zaino" is fruitless. Searching for "Z6" or whatever product you want usually works, but not always.
Best bet is to go to "Car Care & Tools - Waxes & Cleaners" and page through till you find what you want...

You may want to call them and ask if there is a rep in your area. We have one here. I can call and drop by their house to get the products. Makes me feel like I'm making some sort of a deal when I do it. Wierd.

I ordered a stockpile of stuff from Zaino to give for Christmas gifts...don't know if the owner messed up or thought I was messed up by ordering multiples of the same item but the delivered package had nothing to do with what I ordered.
I ordered 3 polish, 2 pre-polish, 1 post polish, 2 applicators (one came free with the order). Got: 1 car wash, 1 polish, 1 different polish (???), 1 pre-polish, 1 post-polish and 2 applicators)
After using the items I would say "Yes" It is a great product. Not sure if the pre-polish is worth it (directions say it will last 2X longer if you use it). BUT, it is harder to get a final gloss without "greasing" (apply the pre-polish, no-buff, then the polish, then buff)
I still see swirl marks even though the manufacture says the polish removes them. (mine aren't that bad)
Overall I would say McGuires Gold and the Clear coat swirl remover is more work to apply (2 sessions of apply and buff) but easier to get a great look...
This opinion does not include any time-testing, I have no idea how long the finish will last for either product.
IMHO avoid Zymol for dark colored cars, it's a great product and it lasts forever but it is a ton of work and looks "greasy" on black.

The greasyness means it didn't completely dry. It takes hours. It's best apply after work Friday or late Saturday and let dry overnite. Then wipe off and buff the next day. It took 2 hours+ even in summer sun for mine to dry completely. That's the only down side of the product: drying time. Fortunately it lasts a long time.
It will not remove swirl marks. They go to great lengths explaining that it had no abrasives whatsoever. Removing swirl marks is a whole other ball game. A search will reveal the relevent info.

I'm not sure which of their products would be called pre-polish. Probably Z-1. If so it is intended to be used prior to the very first application of Z-2 or Z-5. After that every coat just goes on over the previous one. I have noticed, thicker coats take much longer to dry. If I apply gingerly, I can take it off within 1/2 hour, but that's in Texas. I can attest to the Z-5 capabilities in removing swirlys. It even helps remove cat scratches. Stupid animal tried to jump up after I had applied several coats of Z-2. He could get any traction and scratched the crap out of the hood of my wife's Accord V-6.
