Default Zaino - for the first time...

...after 4 hours all I can say is wow

It absolutely looks amazing. I washed, used the clay bar, and then did one coat of Z5 (followed by Z6), then one coat of Z2pro (followed by Z6). The car looks like it has a glass coat.

Even people in my parking lot have come up to me asking me how it is possible that my car is so "clean."

Definatley worth the time effort and expense. Pics to follow (once my wife comes home with the camera).

cant wait to see the pics...
and if you want to see even a slight bit more gloss- the next time you wash the car, use some p21s over that zaino!

p21s is carnuba and its a wipe on wipe off product- dont let it sit long on the car... and if you want to do more than one coat (not really needed) make sure to let the first coat cure for a few hours first.

------

btw, just by using zaino you qualified for the w&w badge! if you want it hooked up, pm me and i will take care of it.

Yeah...Let's see the pics.

I bought all my Zaino stuff a month ago and haven't done it yet. Thanks a LOT you W&W wackos. It's because of you that I've convinced myself that I now have to get myself a PC, pads and some kind of polish before I Zaino my car. So I am not just stripping the Zaino off in a month or two polishing out my light scratches and swirls that will bug me to no end now that I know their there.

I didn't realize I was gonna need a detailing budget until it was too late. Someone should be warning S2K buyers about this, I woulda put less money down on my car when I bought it to give myself a jump on some of these unexpected necessities.

So far since getting my car less than 2 months ago I have gotten:

- Zaino Show car kit
- Megs Leather wipes
- Megs Interior wipes (Interiors get dusty QUICK top down)
- New shop vac for interior
- RaggTop (cleaner and protectant)
- Megs tire gel
- Megs Wheel cleaner
- Plastic polish for the headlights
- New Lambswool Washmitt
- 2 100% Cotton white towels
- a BUNCH of microfiber towels

and I still need/want:
- Porter Cable & Pads
- Swirl remover polish (undecided on brand)
- Engine detailer spay
- 303 Protectant
- Zymol Leather stuff
- Big Blue drying towel

WOW....and to think I thought I already had everything I needed before getting the car, i.e...TurtleWax, Armor All and a bucket...j/k LOL. And lets not even start talking about mods to the car.

Pics coming...

BTW - I didn't use anything except cotton towels to take the polish off. I still had some slight swirling after the first coat of Z5, but it was HOT outside (even in the shade) so I quit before I passed out.

I would doubt you need a porter cable for this stuff... it buffed out VERY easily.

Here is a question though: of course, after I was done it rained (light summer shower) - tomorrow and I just use the Z6 and re-apply -- or am I screwed??

dcon67- pretty funny... you got the disease bad man!
and you need to pm me for the badge that goes with it.

malakas- i assume you didnt drive the car? if you drove it, rewash then you can apply more
if it just rained after your detail and you didnt drive, you can use any detail spray and dry it really well- then go for more zaino if thats what your next step is.
