so just to verify, is the ZFX Accelerator a 100% replacement for the Z1?
as in, replace every time "Z1" is used, and ZFX works the same way ?

Yes, and it gives the ability to add 3 coats in a 24 hour period plus quick dry time.

What's the difference between Z2 and Z5? I bought the starter kit from the zainobros website and it comes with both - do they both do the same thing, and if so then why are both included in the kit? Thanks.

I don't know . . . I just have a hard time using any car cleaning product that recommends the use of dawn dish washing liquid . I think I'll stick w/ my Zymol sampler kit for now. All three waxes have been used on cars that won the Pebble Beach Concours. So, I guess I can't go wrong with that.

The Dawn is to strip all of the other wax, grease, etc that you have on your ca s you can start new. I had a couple of coats of Meguiars and water beaded up really well, after a quick wash with Dawn, the water just sat there. Pretty amazing. Of course it beads up nice with the Zaino now on it.

At what point should I consider using the wax? My car is less than a month old and is garaged at home, but not at work...Is this something I should consider doing right away, or wait a little while?

and in your case, definitely since it sits outside. i would also suggest that you consider investing in a good car cover.

Thanks for the advice, but I mis-spoke...I had meant to ask should I be using the clay right away?
