One more question, what do you use to apply Zaino? I use an applicator sold to me by the L.A. distributor of Zaino. It's a little sponge stitched inside a piece of cotton towel. I find you have to put a lot of Zaino on it to get it wet, it absorbs a lot of the liquid.

I hope you're spraying the applicator with Z-6 Gloss Enhancer or water to get it wet and not saturating the applicator with the Z-2 to get the applicator wet.

6 to 8 drops on the applicator I describe would have been like wiping my car with a dry cotton towel. Should I use a different applicator, a T-Shirt like cotton rag? maybe a sponge applicator?

Thanks for the compliment Steno!
I spray about 2-3 mists of Z6 on the applicator and then make three THIN lines of Z2 on the pad (leftmost, center, rightmost). Then spread these lines across the entire applicator with your finger.
I don't know if this was already brought up in the thread, but I noticed that you have a blue s2000. I can only imagine with the lighter cars that getting the ultra thin Zaino application would be that much more difficult (e.g. I used to have a white car a while ago, and I couldn't STAND waxing it, b/c I never knew if I had already waxed a spot or not).
I noticed over the past month that I've applied about 7 coats to the car already (I know, I'm a sick man who needs help). As I do more and more, I feel that I'm getting better and quicker at it. After a while, I noticed that I don't even look for a thin haze anymore. I just go off of blind faith and trust that there is still some Zaino there. And to be honest, it irks me more to see a noticeable haze versus no haze, b/c I know that I'll have to wait that much longer for the heavier spots to dry.
