Default Zaino can be a real pain sometimes to remove!

I put a couple of more coats of Zaino (Z5/ZFX, Z2/ZFX) this weekend. I think the timing has to be right when you try to buff out the polish. When I went to remove the wax an hour after applying, the buffing area looked greasy so I assumed I needed some more time. I went to bed and tried buffing the residue out in the morning - man it was difficult even when rubbing with fingers. The applied streaks were like dried into the paint and it took a long time and alot of force to get most of the streaks out with an MF towel. Even after an hour of trying to buff off the polish, I couldn't get all of them. I used Z6 and wiped down the rest of the streaks - is this OK to do? Is this how it is for you guys as well when buffing out the polish?

I've never had to resort to Z6 to wipe out the difficult streaks, but in response to your question, I can't see it being detrimental.

It is safe to say that you gave the Zaino plenty of time to dry properly. What is possible is that either the ambient temperatures in your case weren't high enough, or you applied far too much Z2/Z5. When you apply it you should apply so little that it is barely visible to the eye.

Try that next time!
Good luck

I use Z6 to take off remaining dried wax on my car as well. It should be fine..

your problem is you used too much z2. it should be so thin that you barely see it- and it comes off very easily when applied to the proper thickness (thinness).
btw, z6 to help remove excess is fine...

Have the Z2 look like a thin even haze. so you still see the car but looks like as if it were fogged up. It's far easier to see on black cars than anything.

yup.. I think its the classic case of "using too much"

I can barely see my coats of z2 or z5 go on.. that is the difference in applying zaino from any other polish, you simply do not see it go on.. it should go on practically invisible to the "eye" except for some real fine thin white lines that really only show well on darker colours..

good luck next time..
