It sounds like you put WAY WAY too much on and did not let it dry. Just go back now and it should be dry enough to remove. If it it still streaked use Z6 to remove.

Z2 + ZFX is harder to remove with mf towels than Z2 was with cotton towels. It takes a lot more rubbing. But, after you get most of it off, Z6 will remove the rest very easily.

agree with william...
proper app of z2 makes the car not shiny, but not much visible product... after removal you should not see any lines and shouldnt see anything except your reflection! did you use z1 first?
if you use the correct amount, it comes off very easily. common problem to use too much the first time-
if you had a pc, you could prob buff it out... without, you might want to apply another thin coat and buff that one out properly. i would borrow a pc if you can for the removal process (and i use a lambswool bonnet with a microfiber over it).

I agree with the others that you probably used too much. Should get 3 coats easily from one ounce. Z6 can help with removal.

i believe that i read somewhere that with z2, you can apply it so you almost can not even see it being applied...
z2 goes a long long way...
so does z6, even though i'm going through it like crazy.

Z6 can become very expensive when used that way. You should give Meguiar's No. 34 Final Inspection a try. I buy it by the gallon and at this time it is the only detialing spray I use. Final Inspection does not contain any waxes or silicones. I've even used to clean the dust off my vinyl top !! Works great.
