Wrinkled Leather After Cleaning
Hi All,
Since the leather care thread appears to be dead, I thought I would check with the wash and wax gurus. I recently washed my seats with Lexol cleaner and followed up with the conditioner after. I followed the directions by using a damp cloth, worked up a lather and then rinced with a clean damp cloth. After, I applied the conditioner, I buffed off the excess with a dry microfiber towel. It was a warm day but I did this in the shade, the seats were a litle warm when working on them though.
Anyway, when I took a drive later (top up) I noticed new wrinkles near the seams (kind of like pruney skin). The texture was also rough, blotchy and uneven. Here are some pictures:
I tried cleaning with another clean damp rag and it seemed to help a little but not completely. Please let me know what I need to do to fix this. Thanks for your help!!

hmmm, it doesn't look too bad?I could barely tell. If I remember correctly the lexol cleaner spray isnt that much of a spray and actually leaves thick streams of liquid in the direction it was sprayed. Maybe the wrinkled area got soaked in cleaner and just needs to be dried off? Im almost assuming that cleaner was left to soak in that spot?? Whenever I used it, I always applied to a damp microfiber first and then scrubbed away.
