Windshield washer fluid!
I've always had a thing for good windshield washer fluid. It needs to clean. But it shouldn't leave any residue. For example, I'd rather it not be blue or red or pink or purple. It's a challenge.
Now this is just my humble opinion but in my many years of windshield washer fluid research, the best I've ever come across is what came with my S2000. It works, it's clear, it doesn't seem to leave much residue!
My question: what is this stuff? Is it from Honda, or from the dealer? Can it be bought anywhere?
And secondly, what do you use?

Here are two "recipes" Either of these will be clear unless you use a colored dishwashing liquid..
For warmer climates.
90% distilled water
10% isopropyl alcohol
1 tablespoon dishwashing liquid
For cooler climates
67% Distilled water
33% Methanol or isopropyl alcohol

1Z Windshield Wash
This is amazing. I just add this to plain old water(If you want you can use distilled water, thats what I do)
Be sure to clean the windshield once a week or when you wash the car. I found their glass cleaner THE BEST!! My Eagle One 20/20 and stoner's have now been given to the Wife!
1Z Glass Cleaner
Use this along with SOnus Detailing towel and you will not have any streaks! I Promise. If you don't like any of these I will buy them from you! (I always need more anyway)
I use one for cleaning then take the other and dry. You really only have to wipe it over the glass once. It really is The Best Glass Care I have found to date!

great ideas above... i use my windshield washers just for emergencies (sudden unexpected road grime for example). in fact, havent used it for over a year now- guess i better check it before i detail the car next time to make sure they still work!! and prob need to change the fluid too...
otherwise, i hit my windshield at least once a week and often more than that, with a good glass cleaner and paper rag.

eh.. i just use the RainX stuff, but most of the time i just use the fluid to tell tailgaters to get off my a$$
(the nozzles even spray over the car a bit)
my experience is that they get the hint!

Last year I bought the Rain X Wax. I put it on like the directions said. Then it wiped off real easy. BUT this spring I put it on and tried to wipe it off. HOLY**IT. It was on the Glass like cement. It took me an hour to remove it using, rubbing alcohol, glass cleaner, paint polish more Glass cleaner, etc. I don't know what happened. between last year and this spring. Anybody else have that same problem?
