Sweet!!!! I think spa looks better top up or down without the tape. (but I'm biased anyway )

I just found this thread for the first time after searching. What is weird is I never noticed it untill I was playing GT4 yesterday and noticed my 01 GPW had a white windshield frame.

i removed my tape but it left a nasty residue on the paint. how do i remove the residue?

Shouldn't need anything abrasive. Try some baby oil first. Then try some of the other suggestions.

The flow of the S2K looks better with the tape on soft tops, IMO.

I'm so on the fence about this, no hard top yet and the silverstone looks slightly off without the tape and top up... but top down it looks so nice!! I just don't know
