Does anyone know if it is possible to get tints legally if your eyes are very sensitive to the sun?

Usually you can. But I'm not sure about the laws from state to state. This is usually do to very specific medical conditions though. But I do know that conditions do exist for people with certain conditions to have tint legally. But you have to carry proof around all the time when you get pulled over.

Im suprised they'd allow that for a medical condition and not just make you wear sunglasses! That's interesting

plus i personally think its ricy but hey its your car, but to awnser your question it looks like a case of cheap film, there are many different grades of tinted films find out what kind was installed it makes a world of difference the brand and grade 3M best, LLumar second best, Madico is decent, sungard ok anything else is garbage just my .02
Thanks for the info. I had it re done and still experience the same fuzziness. It must be the Tint.. (progaurd is the name I think).. I will take it to another shop and have them install it with a different brand tint.

how is it unsafe?
doesnt affect vision for the driver.

its legal in a lot of states just not california
are you smoking something?

it's illegal for alot of state, you are right, california included.

it's not legal but if it is, ricer will put the darkest shade they can find and put it on, try driving it at night during a storm or heavy rain, you can't see a damn thing with it.

i had a medium shade on my other honda before and i took it off, it's alot cleaner without it.

and about grade of the film, of course, ask for the best stuff you could afford and make sure they do it in one piece, not so big of a problem since s2k have small window but for most suv or bigger sedan, some ghetto place will have two piece tint, which will have a line at the meeting point.

most place would garentee it for life aganist bubble or fading but i doubt will they pay you back or anything, most of the time, they blame you for using wrong type of glass cleaner for the damage.

i think a convertible should be free of tint, but that just me
