^ nice pick-up

i recieved a couple of nice things.
of course like the other big wackos here, there folks that know me know they can't just get me anything. well the young lady in my life got me a nice kit with three different wolfgang products (sealant, quick detailer, prewax cleanser), and souveran paste wax. of course she might have done this knowing they would be used on her black car come spring time...

my parents got me my full tub of supernatural. everyone has been pretty impressed by the beautiful wooden tub it comes in, and i can't wait to put some of it to use once it's a little warmer.

i've already gone and ordered a bunch of things i've been wanting for awhile now. i also ordered a makita 9227, carpet brush attatchments for the PC, flat pads, the 3m backing plate, LM conditioner, M105, swissvax leather brush, swissvax wheel brush, a foam gun, p21s finish restorer, both types of schmitts, and a pad conditioning brush.

only other item waiting to order is a radar detector. really torn between two different BEL's, two different Escorts, and the V1

i look forward to hearing about how others have stocked up over this ugly winter (for those of us not in dumb places like FLORIDA coughtwankstacough) and i really can't wait to see pics / get reviews from all these great new products in the coming months!

I haven't yet, but I have another Christmas gift-exchange on Sat with more family. Maybe something then!

I got a Makita rotary, 10 pads(assorted), 5" pad holder, raggtop, grit guard, 2x 32oz polishes by Menzerna... I ordered so much stuff that i don't even remember how much i spent or ordered.

MERRY XMAS TO MY S2K. Oh yea... my Daily Midori EK will be getting the love first because I need the practice before I move onto bigger better things.

I didn't get any supplies, but that's only because I didn't have any on my list. The things I'm coveting now - an extraction machine, a paint thickness gauge - are things that are way too expensive. Those are things I'll buy on my own dime, eventually.

You guys are gonna love your Makitas!

sokdo: Rather than learning the Makita on your car, pick up some junkyard body panels. Junkyard body panels aren't expensive, and sometimes a body shop will give you some of their unwanted stuff.

I didn't get any detailing supplies because my family thinks I'm a bit crazy for spending so much time cleaning cars, but I did get some money I'm probably going to spend on some new towels.

The kit included: Ice car wash, Ice quick detailing spray, Ice polish, Ice window cleaner, foam applicator

Has anyone had any bad experiences with this stuff?

Lu-Dawg
i thikn u'll find that stuff fine. i too have seen it around but i have enough / wouldn't buy it myself. but the type of products that came in the pack will b fine to use. i'm always open to trying new car wash soap, and quick detailer can b used for clay lube if nothing else. a new window cleaning product can always be good to try as well. i'd say overall thats a nice score and u never know how the stuff will turn out for u - keep us posted!

major score. thats a real gotta-have-it product and i'm sure its going to come in handy
