White wheels....

White wheels....
ok, so i've neglected buying some of the stuff you guys use to clean wheels generally because i just hate cleaning wheels. BUT, i got my v1's powdercoated in white, and now im obsessed with keeping them clean. With that being said, i need something to clean them when they get showered with s2000 brake dust (which we all know is pretty bad). I do have a spoke brush but it isn't the greatest, i think i'll have to go pick up some brushes and stuff, but what do i do about wheel cleaner?
Is P21S gel going to be the best? how long would 1L of this stuff usually last? It is quite costly, so i'm just wondering if there is any other alternatives etc etc.
Thanks!

I use amazing roll off on my RPF-1s and I like it. I havent used P21s but its next on my things to try. The best two things I have done since getting white wheels is ceramic brake pads and coated rotors. It really lowers how often I have to clean them.

I got a 500ml bottle of the P21s wheel gel. Used it on 2 cars (8 wheels) which were pretty soiled and I have already used about 250ml of the stuff.
Does an EXCELLENT job but it's expensive and use quite a bit each time. Do people recommend diluting it to make a single supply last longer?
Also I used it on my friends Volk SE37K which are white, the wheels were absolutely glowing after some agitation of the P21s and hit hard with a stream of water

Since they are powder-coated you can take the liberty of using a wider array of cleaners. I would try one of the most economical, like Meg's APC+ at 4:1 (high strength), or simple green. You will want to keep them from swirling up, though, although on white they would be very hard to see. Just stay away from hard brushes and brillo pads
P21S works very well on expensive wheels, but IMO is overkill for most wheels. APC I find cleans just as good with a more liberal application or two. Meg's Wheel Brightener is really a great product, but I do not have experience with it on powder-coated wheels other than OEM coated ones. And it works miracles!

well i do think they have a clearcoat powder on them...is that going to make a difference with using something like DG ultra orange? and im assuming of course i need to still stay away from those corrosive wheel cleaners right?
