I've gotten some white streaks in the soft top cloth behind the side windows, it's probably some stubborn dirt/salt mix. Usually i only wash the top with a soft brush and a non-wax car schampoo along with the rest of the car. The streaks won't come out completely with this method though. Do you know of any stronger stuff that will remove the white streaks without harming the top?
PS. I hope the hard top will be available soon...

Since the top is primarily a plastic it is not fragile, but at the same time I understand you not wanting to mar it anymore. I have used dish detergent to spot treat a spot or two with no ill affects. Once the spot was gone I did the whole top with the Porsche top shampoo and followed it with the top treatment. You can no longer find where the spots were and the top treatment, while maybe not necessary, seems to help repel dirt and stains.

At www.autopia-carcare.com you can purchase a product called Amazing Roll Off. Sounds hokey I know, but I have used the stuff to clean sails on my boat and it will clean anything off of the material without harming it. Sail material is very similar to the top material and it is a recommended product.
