When do i toss my claybar?

Usually just once -- then you put wax on top and seal the paint. If you decide to change wax systems, or if you have noticable tiny gunk stuck on the paint after a long time, I'd use another claybar.

I agree, that is an interesting suggestion/idea sumir. krazybartender, I think it depends on how often you wash your car. I tend to use the clay bar once a year.
