I have nt03s that i use for track days with Carbotech xp10s all around, and the ONLY thing that cleans my rims is Lime-Away, and a dish brillow pad. I've been doing this for about 1 year now, and never had any problems.
Spray on, leave for like 3-5 min, then clean.

I've used XP10s and my wheels were just as easy to clean as any other time. They're also protected periodically and cleaned the day after tracking.

You should clean the rims and then apply some wax. The dirt/dust shouldn't embed itself into the finish to the point where you need brillo to get it off.
